I found my wedding gown at Azalea Bridal and Formal this weekend (my wedding isn't until 03/12/2011 but you cannot submit reviews to this site [WeddingWire] unless you are a newlywed *silly*) and could not be more excited. I located their store through doing a google search and after a week or so of perusing their website and facebook page, I decided to give them a try. When they say no pressure atmosphere, they MEAN it genuinely. I loved that I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I could with no sales person constantly standing at the dressing room door staring at their watch so they can get to their next appointment. Also, my wedding is being planned with a very modest budget in mind. All of the dresses I tried on (I made 3 trips to the store) were well under $999 which for the quality of the gowns is AMAZING! They also have a layaway plan that can't be beat! It's no interest and can be applied to any dress in the store, whether they order it or not (unlike other bigger bridal stores that boast lay away). Words cannot express how wonderful my experience at Azalea Bridal and Formal was. I will recommend, with confidence, this bridal shop to any of my friends/family members who are looking for any type of formal wear. I'm also planning on purchasing my bridesmaid dresses from Azalea Bridal. They are truly wonderful! I was able to try on ten dresses, which is virtually unheard of for someone who isn't a size ten or less. And those were just the dresses I chose to try on, there were lots of other dresses I could have chosen. My dress fit perfectly right off the rack. [What did you love the most?] Sunday hours. Happy Girl I was very nervous going dress shopping seeing that I am a larger girl. But they treated me with so much care and they had a great selection of dresses to try on even if they don't fit they have straps to help it sit so you can see if you like the type of dress. I love this store!! Great selection, really good prices. No appointment was needed and they helped me right away. I tried on lots of gowns and found THE perfect dress with no pressure. They have great dressing rooms with enough room to actually try on your dress - and they actually helped me. Zipped or laced up my dress for me, and she was very friendly. My Mom found her dress and she was really happy with it (she's a plus size so she doesn't usually have such luck!). My bridesmaids got their dresses, too and they all loved the place too. I definitely recommend this place. (My maid of honor said she's going there for her dresses.) Hope you go there - I'm recommending it to everyone I know! Allison This weekend, I went to Azalea Bridal to look for a Prom dress. I was amazed at how many beautiful dresses there were. They have the new hot prom dresses that are not just the same old styles I have seen at other places. I found a perfect dress that looks great, was reasonable, and is exactly what I wanted. The salesperson was extremely nice. She was not pushy at all. I felt totally at ease. They had a wide selection of accessories too. Who can believe! I have sent a couple of my friends to Azalea Bridal who have also purchased their dresses there. I will definitely purchase at Azalea Bridal again! HIGHLY Recommended! Azalea's staff was a dream to work with. No pressure whatsoever, and Debbie hooked, laced, and assisted me in trying on multiple dressesnot an easy task! The selection of larger-sized dresses was impressive. I am not a size two, so having so many options I could actually try on was refreshing.
