I was not planning on buying a dress the day I walked into Azalea, but I wound up finding the perfect Mori Lee gown at a dynamite price! The women at Azalea were not pushy at all, unlike many other salons. They took their time with me and even let me take pictures before I had committed to a dress. I would recommend this shop to anyone getting married. They have beautiful dresses and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back to buy my Mom's dress soon! I found my wedding gown at Azalea Bridal and Formal this weekend (my wedding isn't until 03/12/2011 but you cannot submit reviews to this site [WeddingWire] unless you are a newlywed *silly*) and could not be more excited. I located their store through doing a google search and after a week or so of perusing their website and facebook page, I decided to give them a try. When they say no pressure atmosphere, they MEAN it genuinely. I loved that I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I could with no sales person constantly standing at the dressing room door staring at their watch so they can get to their next appointment. Also, my wedding is being planned with a very modest budget in mind. All of the dresses I tried on (I made 3 trips to the store) were well under $999 which for the quality of the gowns is AMAZING! They also have a layaway plan that can't be beat! It's no interest and can be applied to any dress in the store, whether they order it or not (unlike other bigger bridal stores that boast lay away). Words cannot express how wonderful my experience at Azalea Bridal and Formal was. I will recommend, with confidence, this bridal shop to any of my friends/family members who are looking for any type of formal wear. I'm also planning on purchasing my bridesmaid dresses from Azalea Bridal. They are truly wonderful! J_McKenzie Finding a Mother of Bride's gown that made my mother feel both beautiful and elegant, not to mention fit correctly had been a nightmare until we arrived at Azalea. There were ball gowns, bridesmaids, and wedding gowns from size 2 - 32 on the rack ready to try on. The owner was wonderful working with my mother finding her the perfect gown that she was not only comfortable in and did not make her look too matronly but also fit appropriately and was within her price point. We needed to special order for additional length and the shop was terrific for continuing to keep in touch through every step of the process. If I ever have to purchase another formal gown, I will definitely be returning to Azalea. My Mom found her dress and she was really happy with it (she's a plus size so she doesn't usually have such luck!). My bridesmaids got their dresses, too and they all loved the place too.
